2010 would turn out to be a big year for Indian couple Devi Singh and his wife Bhateri Devi. This was the year that first time mother Bhateri would give birth to triplets via cesarean. While having triplets is tough to go through, imagine doing this at age 66. India has no law regarding fertility treatments and put a lot of pressure on families to have children as they will be heirs to the family property. Singh states that, “We were called childless, and no one would like to see our faces in the morning. They feared it would spoil their fortune in bearing children.”
