Adriana Iliescu

Adriana is a retired university lecturer in Romanian literature and author of 25 children’s books. In 2004 she underwent IVF treatment and was carrying triplets but over the course of the pregnancy only one survived. Prior to that in 1995, she also received hormone treatment to reverse menopause. On January 16, 2005, 66-year old Adriana welcomed her daughter Eliza into the world. She hopes to see her daughter turn 20 and even plans on having another child.
