It is claimed that if your baby’s heart rate is more than 140 beats per minute you will have a baby girl and if it is below 140 beats per minute you are carrying a baby boy. While an obstetrician may watch the heart rate to ensure your baby’s heart rate is within a certain healthy range they will probably not be telling you your baby’s gender on the back of the heart rate.
