Once you have established your key marker times then give warnings about up coming tasks. So at 8.40am (or even a little earlier!) you can alert the kids “5 more minutes until it’s time to leave” that way you are not throwing it at them and expecting instant reactions because let’s face it with kids you are not going to get any instant reactions!.
