Mum-Zi
At the age of 7 Mum-Zi joined Chief Akkiri’s harem in Calabar, Nigeria. Quickly thereafter she became pregnant and gave birth to a healthy baby daughter when she was only 8 years and 4 months old in 1884. Her daughter also was in the same circumstance and had a child when she was 8 years and 8 months old making Mum-Zi the youngest grandmother in the world at age 17.

Zulma Guadalupe Morales
Zulma Guadalupe Morales from northern Mexico had her child when she was 8 years old at a local hospital on January 12, 1992. She carried her baby the full 9-month term and the boy was delivered by caesarean section. The parents were hesitant to release their daughter’s name as it would hurt her reputation, but it was later revealed. The father may have been an uncle who raped her but it was never confirmed.
